I got drunk once in high school and fell up the stairs.

I had a few too many beers and figured I could sneak by my mom’s undetected.

My drunken MacGuyver brain thought she doesn’t drink and will never know.

Walking into my house smelling like the local Coors Brewery was my first red flag.

But what took me back was when I walked through the door at midnight my mom was standing at the top of the stairs yelling.

“Where were you?”

“Why are you home so late?”

I did my best to combat her heavy barrage of questions but couldn’t think fast enough.

Then in queue in a drunken stupor, I fell up the stairs and slid down like Homer Simpson.

I was wrong my mom had been drunk before and could spot a drunk from a mile away.

I couldn’t fake it.

Similarly…

Creating content online is the same.

99% of the time it’s drunken gibberish.

It lacks:

– Depth

– Personality

– Social Proof

The list goes on.

Now we have ChatGPT generating 37% of posts online.

Same structure:

– Endless emojis

– Clueless CTA

– Zero art form

Everyone is positioning themselves as high status when in reality they are not.

Why do you think everyone is paying Ghostwriters $3k a month to write posts?

They can’t do it on their own.

They lack:

– Consistency

– Systems

– Ideas

Writing online is tough and it should be.
