If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably often wondered about the process of getting featured in prestigious publications like Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
I thought to be featured you must have special connections to a good old boy club
or
Have a massive marketing budget.
I couldn’t figure it out.
LinkedIn and Instagram didn’t help either.
I would constantly get messages like…
Whenever I reached out to them and engaged with their marketing strategies it always ended up with them wanting thousands of dollars.
Help A Reporter Out connects journalists seeking expertise to include in their content with sources who have expertise.
It’s completely free and is simple to set up.
I used HARO and was able to be featured in US News & World Report and National Real Estate Investor.
They send out 3 emails a day (kind of a lot) notifying you of potential opportunities to be a source.
I’ll give you a heads-up, the quicker you are able to reply the better.
Often times the submission deadlines are swift.
