This year I’m making the leap from a scarce to an abundant mindset.

I’ve realized…

90% of my scarce mindset came from my mother.

(Yes mom, I still love you)

2 days ago I told her when we move back to Colorado, I want to move to Boulder.

The first thing she said: “That’s expensive.”

Yesterday, I told her we booked plane tickets to come back to Colorado for Christmas this year.

She was super excited.

Then, I began to tell her about our plans to go skiing and, can you guess what she said?

Yep…

“It’s expensive.”

My mom always thinks about price before everything.

Her mindset towards money is defensive, not proactive.

She doesn’t think…

That sounds amazing
You’ll have fun
Lovely

Instead, it’s always about the cost, the risk, the downside.

In 2024, I’m making a conscious choice to break free from her ideals.

My mindset has evolved from:

This can’t happen

I will make this happen come hell or high water.

No more fear of not having enough.

No more being paralyzed by the ‘what ifs’.

I have faith and a strong conviction that I was put on this earth to do great things, and it’s time I started living like it.

It’s time to lean in, embrace the abundance mindset, and see where this journey takes me.

To everyone out there struggling with a scarcity mindset, know this:

You’re not alone, and it’s never too late to change.

Let’s make 2024 the year we all step into our greatness.
